Dean Ravenola has been a creative his entire life. Growing up in the small town of Suffield Connecticut, his parents encouraged him to develop a love for reading at a very young age. This bibliophilism blossomed into a passion for storytelling in all forms as Dean grew fascinated with television, video games, films, graphic novels, and poetry. Shortly before graduating high school in 2013, he published his debut novel Aether Warriors.

In 2018, Dean Ravenola received a Double Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications, as well as a Concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Connecticut. Since graduation, his writing has appeared across celebrated franchises such as DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon and the iconic online pet game Neopets.

During his career, Dean Ravenola has been a Panelist at LA Comic Con 2023 and interviewed by major gaming news outlet Polygon. Currently employed as Narrative and Creative Director at World of Neopia Inc. and Fluffydog studios, Dean also writes original TV show pilot and short film scripts during his spare time.
